Small business owners in the Devon/Sheridan TIF district are invited to attend a Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) informational meeting to learn more about this opportunity to spruce up their businesses.
The SBIF program, run through the city's Department of Planning and Development, provides grants - not loans - to help small business owners with a variety of building repairs and improvements. These improvements can include windows, sign structures, plumbing, roof work, tuck pointing, electrical systems, interior build-outs, HVAC updates, and ADA upgrades. These SBIF grants help small businesses and help enhance commercial corridors by providing financial assistance for building improvements.
To be eligible, a business must be within the Sheridan/Devon TIF district.
