The PO Box Collective will be screening the film “Pay It No Mind: The Life and Times of Marsha P. Johnson” which centers on the final interview with Marsha Johnson, a revolutionary trans-activist, Stonewall instigator, Andy Warhol model, drag queen, sex worker, starving actress and Saint. They will also screen “Happy Birthday, Marsha!”, a fictional short that imagines trans-rights pioneers Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera in the hours leading to the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York City.
Pride punch and popcorn precede this free screening, which will start at sunset. Discussion to follow.
