Event Description:
Save the date -- H.O.M.E. has a very important birthday coming up! On August 25th, we will host our 40th Anniversary Celebration, a virtual fundraiser honoring H.O.M.E.’s rich history of serving low-income seniors in Chicago.
For the last 40 years, H.O.M.E. has remained a cornerstone of stability, love, and hope for the aging community in Chicago. With your support, H.O.M.E. can continue to transform strangers into friends, unsafe housing into comfortable homes, and empty larders into food-filled pantries or communal meals for another 40 years.
The event will feature performances and artwork from H.O.M.E. residents, testimony from key stakeholders, raffle prizes, and a video documenting H.O.M.E.'s journey from an upstart nonprofit led by Lilo and Michel Salmon and fueled by passionate volunteers into a nationally recognized leader in intergenerational housing and support services for older adults.
We at H.O.M.E. never want cost to be a barrier to celebrating with our community. For this reason, we are offering a number of ticket options, including “choose your own amount” and complimentary.
