Giant Menorah Lighting
When: Mon, Dec 3 7pm
Where: Loyola Park, Near Lunt Ave by the lake
Chabad- Rabbi Yoel Wolf of Rogers Park will ignite a public 9-foot Chanukah menorah erected at Loyola Park, dedicated to the memory of Eliyahu Moscowitz and Douglass Watts. The lighting will be followed by a community-wide celebration on December 3rd, the 2nd night of the eight-day holiday. This will be a short (45 minute) and uplifting Chanukah celebration, where they will serve traditional latke pancakes and doughnuts. There will be live music and song, all are welcome.
