Camino Clark, the cultural district stretching along Clark Street from Howard to Devon is celebrating Mexican Independence Day with a neighborhood-wide fiesta!
Mexican-owned businesses will be offering special deals, tasty surprises and fun giveaways for the community.
Here’s how to join the celebration:
- Stop by GROW/PROGRESANDO entrepreneurial training center, 7056 N. Clark St. between 12 to 4 p.m. to pick up a FREE Camino Clark tote bag.
- Inside, you’ll find a full list of participating businesses and their specials, plus a few bonus goodies!
- Then, head out onto Camino Clark to explore, shop, eat and celebrate.
Mexican Independence Day marks the historic “Grito de Dolores” in 1810, a moment that sparked Mexico’s fight for freedom. On Camino Clark, it’s a chance to honor that history while celebrating the joy, flavor and culture of Mexico right here in Rogers Park.
